Kevin Lake, Parks & Recreation Director

Kevin Lake became DeWitt's Parks & Recreation Director in 2005. Previously, Kevin was employed by the City of Davenport (IA) Parks & Recreation Department.  A native of Davenport, Kevin holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Iowa and master's degree from University of Central Missouri. Kevin is a member of Iowa Parks & Recreation Association & the National Recreation & Parks Association.

Kevin is responsible for the DeWitt Fitness Center, DeWitt Aquatic Center, DeWitt Community Center, recreation programs, DeWitt Crossroads Triathlons as well as our parks.

Kristina Baker, Fitness Center & Recreation Coordinator

Kristina Baker joined DeWitt's Fitness Center as the Fitness Center & Recreation Coordinator in 2025. She brings a strong background in nonprofit work, specializing in grant writing as well as marketing and communications. Kristina holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in Communications – Brand Engagement from Drake University.

A DeWitt native, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband and son, attending sporting events (go Hawkeyes!), and cheering on her nieces and nephews in their activities.
