Our race history:

DeWitt Crossroads Youth Triathlon was 1st held in 2018.
No event was held in 2020 due to COVID-19.
2025 will be our 7th year holding DeWitt Crossroads Youth Triathlon.
This event has sold out every year offered.  Don't miss out!
 

Divisions

• Senior (12-15 Year Olds) age determined as of 12-31-25

• This division is for athletes born in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013

  The youth triathlon is capped at 100 participants.

» $45.00 Late Registration begins on 7-1-25.

• Intermediate (9-11 Year Olds) age determined as of 12-31-25

• This division is for athletes born in 2014, 2015 and 2016

• The youth triathlon is capped at 100 participants

Youth Triathlon Details

JUNIOR COURSE (6-8 year olds) - This division wears a green bib and does 1 lap.
SWIM 50 meters - Swim Route
BIKE 1.5 mile (1 lap)
RUN 1/2 mile (1 lap)

INTERMEDIATE COURSE (9-11 year olds) - This division wears a orange bib and does 2 laps.
SWIM 100 meters (4 lengths - 2 laps - of the pool) Swim Route
BIKE 3 mile (2 laps)
RUN 1 mile (2 laps)

SENIOR COURSE (12-15 year olds) - This division wears a red bib and does 3 laps.
SWIM 150 meters (6 lengths - 3 laps - of the pool) Swim Route
BIKE 4.5 mile (3 laps)
RUN 1.5 mile (3 laps)

*1 length of the DeWitt Aquatic Center Pool is 25 meters

Helmets: Helmets must be worn at all times while on your bike. This means before, during, and after the event.  Penalty: Disqualification

Bike Route Rules: click here to see a map of the bike course
Keep at least three bike lengths of clear space between you and the cyclist in front. If you move into the zone, pass within 15 seconds. 
Keep to the right-hand side of the lane of travel unless passing. 
Penalty: Variable time penalty

Awards: Overall awards to the Top Three Male and Female Finishers in each category:  Junior, Intermediate and Senior.

Event Shirts: Event shirts are unisex sizing.  To secure your desired shirt size, please register prior to the deadline.

Late Entries: Late entries will be accepted if space permits. 100 maximum athletes for 2025.

Registered after June 30- $45

IMPORTANT INFO

Your age on December 31, 2025 will be the age group you will compete in on race day. Age is NOT determined by your age on race day.

Race organizers will not be able to ship packets (after the event) for participants who don't claim their packet.

4:00 PM DeWitt Aquatic Center closes to the general public
4:15 PM chip distribution begins at DAC
4:15 PM athletes begin getting marked for competition
4:15 PM transition opens
5:30 PM transition closes – all athletes need to be setup and ready to go
5:45 PM pre-race briefing
6:00 PM National Anthem
6:00 PM Senior division begins competition
*8:00 PM awards ceremony to begin. 
*Awards will begin when results are compiled, and all athletes have finished.
